Mie Lupica, reporter for the New York Daily News claims that now that Jeter has retired, Eli Manning is taking over as the face of New York spots teams. Although Eli has his ups and downs, Lupica really believes that he is a great quarterback and is capable of leading the Giants to another Super Bowl season. Last year was Eli Manning's worst season of his career, however, he is turning it into a good thing because the Giants are playing exceptionally well this season. Eli Manning has a great reputation to uphold as the New York Giants starting quarterback and now, the face of all New York Sports.

Speaker: The speaker is unknown, but you can assume it is a person whom is unhappy with the way the rich in the United States is treated much better than the poor.
Audience: The audience can be any citizen of the United States. The argument is aimed towards the government
Subject: The subject of this cartoon is the unnecessary taxes the government is putting on the poor and that they are not taxing the rich enough. The poor and middle class people are being treated very unfairly.
Purpose: The purpose of this cartoon is to explain that the government needs to stop taking from the poor and middle class and start taking more from the rich. Some people are having to pay an abundance of money each year for things that are completely irrelevant to them while the rich are getting richer.

Monday Matters #2
Editorial : http://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2014/09/15/bruce-levenson-nba-atlanta-hawks-dewayne-wickham/15628853/
Some people believe that what Levenson did was not racist, that it was just an attempt to bring in more fans to the Hawks games. I believe that Levenson is acting out of selfishness and is treating his fans and his organization unfairly, especially because of the fact that he most likely does not personally know any of the fans that show up to the games. He is more worried about making money than having a good team and fan base. The fact that Levenson is going behind his team's back and sending racist e-mails like this make him no better than any of the 'horrible' people that come to the games. The fact that he is stepping down is not enough considering he can force the NBA to help him sell his team for much more than it is worth and Levenson will make an abundant profit from something that seemed horrible to begin with.

http://www.cnn.com/2014/09/07/us/atlanta-hawks-owner-bruce-levenson-racist-email/index.html?hpt=us_c2
Atlanta Hawks Owner Bruce Levenson is allegedly selling his team after being caught sending a racist email about 2 years ago concerned about how the fans at the games are almost all black. He stated that he wanted to bring in more white people to the games because the black people were scaring the whites away from coming to the game. Levenson had some ideas about how to 'bring the whites back in', such as bringing in some white cheerleaders and playing music that a 40 year old white man would listen to, however, they were all shot down. He is now willingly selling his team after the email was leaked to the public.
This is unacceptable for an NBA team owner to be talking bad about his team's own fans and he should be facing much worse consequences. Although being racist is not illegal, Levenson should have to pay for it somehow other than having to be looked down upon and having to sell his low income team.
